The day, as the salon sees it. In Italian, because that is what the software is today.

You didn't open a salon to chase a no-show by hand, retype an appointment into the paper book because the phone and the tablet disagree, count tubes on a shelf, or try to remember who hasn't been back since March.

Bloome does those four. You do the hair.

Ten things a salon pays for.We win 4, they win 4, and 2 nobody publishes.

An em dash means we did not find it written — not that they do not have it. Eleven of the fourteen salon systems we checked show no price on their homepage; six publish none anywhere. Of the eight that do publish, none publishes anybody else's. Read 12 September 2026.

“She was my client. Why am I paying for her?”

Four of the systems in this market take a percentage of a client who books through their app. Move the two sliders and see what that is in a year.

Treatwellon a new client from their app€2,70025%
Booksy Boostone-off, on the first visit€3,24030%
Vagaroon the first marketplace booking€2,16020%
Freshatheir page says «Free»; their help centre describes a commission
Bloomeno commission, on any client, ever€00%

A year of the whole software, for a salon of five, is €948 ex VAT — less than what one of those percentages takes on its own. Arithmetic, not a forecast: it counts only the clients who come through their app, because that is the only place they charge it. Percentages read on their own pages, 12 September 2026.

Fresha is the dash: their pricing page says «Free», their help centre describes a commission. Until we can settle that, we don't put a number on it.

The honest half: they can put you in front of someone who has never heard of you. We can't. That is what the percentage buys. And two systems here take no cut at all — Shore and Salonized — so they are not in this calculation. Their prices are in the ten cards above, including where they beat us.

The price, and the lines nobody else prints.

Ex VAT. Their figures read on their own pricing pages.

At five people Fresha is €69.75 ex VAT — €85.10 with 22% VAT. Salonized comes out at €55. Under about eleven people, per-person pricing wins on the price tag, and we are leaving that here rather than hiding it. 12 September 2026.

Three things it doesn't do.

The sale is recorded here. The receipt still prints where it prints today.

Shore sells a till line separately — «Kasse», €49.90/€29.90. We sell none.

You can't start tonight on your own. Vagaro gives 30 days, Booksy 14 with no card, Fresha 7 — all self-serve, all at two in the morning. We have no signup button and no trial clock: the fourteen days are a promise kept by hand.

The software your team uses is in Italian. Your clients' booking page and the client area are Italian and English. We sell anywhere, and Europe is where we start — but if your team does not read Italian, that is the thing to settle on the call before anything else. Ask, and you will get a date or a no, not a maybe.

This is the program.

One salon in Italy runs on this every day. Before any call we put a copy of your own data in, so you are looking at your own salon — not a demo.

What happens to ten years of client cards

The importer is real: 991 lines, with a dry run and an undo, already run once on a live salon's data. It was written for one Italian program and isn't generic yet — off anything else it is hand work on our side. Treatwell moves «solo i dati basilari e le note tecniche». Fresha: you do the CSV yourself.
